Greek shipowner Dynacom said its tanker Kavomaleas was struck by two projectiles off Oman on Monday 20 July, causing an engine-room fire that forced the crew to abandon ship, while its VLCC Acheloos was hit in the steering-gear compartment about 17 nautical miles east of Dibba, UAE. All crew were reported safe; Omani authorities recovered the Kavomaleas crew.
