The Bermuda-flagged LNG carrier GasLog Shanghai, carrying Qatari LNG, was struck at 23:30 UTC about 11 nautical miles northeast of Oman while exiting the strait, suffering a portside engine-room fire, blackout and loss of propulsion; all crew were safe.
